Applicant eligibility

In order for an online loan application to be considered, applicants have to be at least 18 years old and resident in Australia. Applicants also need to have a regular after tax income of at least $1000 per fortnight. This may also include government benefits and pensions.

Fundo Loans is built on responsible lending. Applicants will need to show that they can comfortably meet their required loan repayments without hardship. If approval of the loan would place an applicant at risk of being placed into financial hardship as a result of borrowing money from Fundo, we will not be able to approve the loan.


Electronic Authorisation

By submitting a loan application, applicants agree and consent to receiving the Fundo Credit Guide, information statement, credit contract and other documents relevant to an approved loan by email and/or by SMS, and by the member log-in area via our website. We may use information about customers for the purpose of providing them with credit, for direct marketing of products, and to enhance services offered by us or any of our associates.

The information provided by customers will be held by us. Customers can gain access to the information held about them by contacting us. Customers have the right to request to not receive direct marketing material by advising us at any time. If customers do not provide us their personal information, we may be unable to provide a loan.

Disclosure of Credit Information

> Equifax and illion may include the information in reports provided to credit providers to assist them to assess a customer′s creditworthiness. If a customer fails to meet their repayment obligations or commits a serious credit infringement, Fundo Loans may be entitled to disclose this to the credit reporting bodies (CRBs).

You may obtain policies about the management of credit-related personal information by CRBs by reading the Privacy Policy of each CRB on their website (addresses shown above).


Customer Rights

Customers have the right to access the information held by us, to request us to correct the information and to make a complaint to us. Customers have the right to request credit reporting bodies to not use credit reporting information for the purposes of pre-screening of direct marketing by a credit provider. Customers also have the right to request credit reporting bodies to not use or disclose credit reporting information about them if they believe on reasonable grounds that they have been, or are likely to be, a victim of fraud.


Fundo Loans may use and exchange customer data with other credit providers

By signing and submitting a loan application, customers acknowledge that the information that Fundo Loans may exchange with other credit providers and alternate service providers (such as credit file repair services, budgeting services and rental services) includes the application information held by Fundo Loans, what type of loans the customer has, how much the customer has borrowed, whether or not the customer has met their loan payment obligations and if the customer has committed a serious credit infringement (for example, fraud).


Fundo Loans may use and exchange customer data with third parties

Where permitted by law or for any of the purposes mentioned above, Fundo Loans may exchange customer data with third parties, including:

  • Service providers, for example credit providers, lenders, credit file repair services, budgeting services and rental services;
  • The provider of the market for the sale or distribution of my customer data;
  • Those to whom Fundo Loans or any of the third parties outsources certain functions, for example: direct marketing, statement production, debt recovery and information technology support;
  • Government and law enforcement agencies or regulators;
  • Credit reporting bodies and credit providers.

Anti-Hawking

Applicants may be offered a financial product from another lender based on that lender’s credit assessment of the applicant′s application to Fundo Loans. The offer may not be the exact same loan type or amount originally sought.
